I recently visited the local historical society and it was a wonderful experience. The exhibits were incredibly well-curated and provided a comprehensive overview of the history of Ames. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they were available to answer any questions. The museum itself is also quite impressive, with stunning displays and a beautiful building. I highly recommend a visit to the Ames Historical Society.
