My time with Americorps Urban Safety Project was a mixed bag. While I appreciated the organization's efforts to address urban safety, I found the communication and coordination to be lacking. There were instances where I felt confused and uncertain about my role. However, I must acknowledge the positive impact the projects had on the community. With some improvements, this could be an excellent opportunity for volunteers to make a real difference.
