It all started with a boat.In the late ‘70s before Nick was born, his parents built a 43 foot sailing yacht in their back garden in the sleepy harbour town of Hout Bay. Once completed, they then sailed around the world on her for almost ten years.They named the boat, Drifter.Drifter symbolized adventure, creativity and craftsmanship ​which is what Nick and the team strive for in their beers and at the brewery in Woodstock.
