OMF is the leading resource for eye cancer information, patient support and directed research. Over 50,000 people per year visit OMF’s website for treatment information, counseling and to connect with other patients through the OMF Patient Forum, a private social network. In 2010, the world’s first OM patient meeting was held at DanaFarber Cancer Institute and OMF’s Eye Am Not Alone (EANA) Patient Retreat continues in 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic’s Taussig Cancer Center. The unique EANA forum brings patients, family members and caregivers together with OM experts such as Takami Sato MD, PhD; Richard Carvajal, MD; and Peter Hovland, MD, PhD, OMF’s Medical Advisor, giving patients unprecedented access to both cutting edge treatment options and to other OM survivors. In late 2012, OMF launched the Travel Assistance Grant (TAG) program.
