As skin care and data enthusiasts, we keenly feel the shortcomings of traditional ways of beauty product discovery - word of mouth, reviews from other buyers, etc. They fail to account for the uniqueness of each person's skin and fully ignores the valuable data contained in one's past product usage. As a response, we built Piqed. Users of the app receive skin care and beauty product recommendations tailored for them, based on their reactions to products they have used in the past. We save users the trouble and costliness of trial-and-error product experimentation and help them avoid potentially sensitive/harmful ingredients.
