Wouldnt recommend.
What can I say:
To start with Keane were really good at keeping in contact even before I had decided what to do.
We met up and chatted about a few things and we were happy to go from there.
The first view of the website was great.
Our relationship started to break down after a month or so because I sent some photos 3 times and these were for one reason or another not good enough. After discussing over email they wanted photos taken in a studio and clear cut, our business is in the property maintenance so we wanted photos of our own work, eventually the company caved and put them on the website. The emails received from the company over this topic were demoralising and further emails were dreaded to be received from them.
I paid for the privacy policy which was ok no issues.
I paid in addition for them to do content, our relationship broke down further here. After reading the content it was clear they had just copied and paste not researched. There were grammar mistakes and spelling mistakes throughout the website and to top it off our company name wasn't correct on any of the pages. I refused to pay the full £450 plus VAT as I spent time over the weekend correcting all the mistakes, I did pay £360 plus VAT. I will put here that at this point they were happy for the website to go live with all the mistakes.
At the end of January my emails started to come in at around 5pm on a Friday and wouldn't be responded to til the following Friday at around 5pm. Adding further to the breakdown.
I wanted photos of before and after work adding to the website. What I got was a gallery of mismatched photos even though I had spent time emailing them across with descriptions. It was just like no care was taken anymore and it was just photos that were dumped.
So still unhappy and stating I was unhappy they pushed forward for the training now the end of Feb which it should have been complete in Jan. I work in a different job so office hours I couldn't do and because of this I was classed as difficult. The emails received were training is half day, then down to an hour, then down to half an hour and then down to 15 mins. Keep in mind in my contract this was an area stated they would full fill and never did.
April and i've found a new company to take over. Keane haven't fulfilled there end of the contract and still want full payment. Unfortunately I have no choice but to be force to pay full payment as they won't send the website files to the new company until they receive it.
