У неділю, 21 червня 2015 року, керівник пожежної служби Nags виконав надзвичайну послугу для наших орендарів, наших сусідів та нас. Їх швидкі дії були особливо важливі для нас, оскільки ми живемо в Балтиморі влітку і здаємо в оренду наш будинок із Південними Нагсами. Пожежники швидко відреагували на заклик сусіда із запахом газу біля нашого будинку. Резервуар з пропаном спричинив витік, залишивши осад та можливий легкозаймистий матеріал. Завдяки оперативним діям пожежників, які замили територію, що оточувала резервуар, та працюючи з постачальником пропану, вдалося уникнути потенційно небезпечної ситуації. Ми дуже вдячні керівнику пожежної служби Nags і вважаємо, що нам пощастило жити в їх юрисдикції. Ще раз дякую вам!

Під час сімейних святкових канікул у грудні ми зупинились на Kill Devil Hills у прекрасному будинку. Оскільки мій син любить віндсерфінг, він приніс свою дошку та гідрокостюм для занять віндсерфінгом. Умови здавались досить хорошими, оскільки він виїжджав удень напередодні Різдва кататися на вітрі. Потім він потрапив у певні неприємності в середині звуку, і його почали витягувати далі, подалі від берега, підштовхуючи до мосту (до Мантео). Холодна, виснажена і зіткнулася з парусом, що не співпрацював, ситуація швидко погіршилася. Він був загублений з поля зору з берега, і ми викликали пожежу та порятунок, як тільки зрозуміли, що це серйозно. Дуже швидко Nags Head Fire & Rescue був на місці, оцінюючи місце події, знаходячи місцезнаходження мого сина, а потім відправляючи водний мотоцикл, щоб затягнути його. Дякую Богу для працівників Nags Head Fire & Rescue! Що б могло стати такою трагічною історією, вдалося уникнути, і всі повернулись додому в безпеці, в теплі та насолоджувалися Різдвяною вечерею з родиною. Я завжди пам’ятатиму і буду вдячний екіпажу за колективну роботу, ефективність, плюс добру, емпатію та терпіння до всієї турботної родини. Ще раз спасибі цим сміливим та корисним людям, які припинили все, що вони робили напередодні Різдва, щоб допомогти комусь, хто цього потребує.

У нас була незначна проблема з грилем у нашому орендованому будинку сьогодні ввечері, і хлопці, які прийшли допомогти, були феноменальними в тому, щоб все виправити. Знову дякую!!!
