Це прекрасна церква, і в ній найпрекрасніший служитель Джонатан Мід.

Раніше я прийшов до цієї церкви три роки тому, у п’ятницю, 18 серпня 2017 року, на похорон моєї свекрухи і повернувся цього вівторка 26 січня 2021 року на похорон мого тестя під час пандемії коронавірусу.

З цієї нагоди в серпні 2017 року церква була заповнена кількома сотнями людей, що оплакували і співчували, заповнюючи всі доступні кімнати та приміщення в церкві, а задній зал і все ще з багатьма стояли надворі, не маючи можливості потрапити.

Тепер швидко перейдіть до січня 2021 року, і світ охопив смертельна пандемія під назвою коронавірус майже рік тому, яка вбила мільйони людей по всьому світу, включаючи мого 93-річного тестя, який також заразився вірусом Covid-19 і помер 1 січня 2021 р. від наслідків ускладнень. Тож для цього похорону в 2021 році уряд запровадив нові настанови, які намагаються стримати поширення коронавірусу, і це обмежує кількість відвідувачів похорону максимум до 30 осіб.

Я, безумовно, повернусь до цієї церкви знову, як тільки це буде безпечно зробити, щоб подякувати їм за людяність у наші періоди горя.
