Страх, розгубленість і гнів, які з’явилися після діагностики інвалідності нашого сина 11 років тому, перейшли до прийняття, гордості та радості. Ми записали нашого сина в школу «Хілсайд» у другий клас. Він був там три роки, а потім знову зарахувався до сьомого класу, щоб допомогти пілотувати програму середньої школи. Стратегії, яких його навчали читання та письма, а також навички мета-пізнання та самозахисту успішно підтримали його в середній школі, і він закінчить навчання в червні.
