Мої діти вже три роки поспіль відвідують цей табір і стали частиною того, що я відчуваю як «літня сім’я». Жодного разу жодна з моїх дітей не приходила додому зі скаргами на те, що її якимось чином знущаються. Насправді, дружба та стосунки, які вони сформували, перебуваючи в цьому таборі, вийшли за межі літа на лініях паркової власності, ці дружби продовжуються і в зимові місяці. Мені дуже приємно дивитися, як вони щоліта повертаються до улюбленого персоналу та/або консультантів. Я досить часто згадувала своєму чоловікові, що в ті дні, коли я виходжу і збираю дітей, що на цих консультантах така ж усмішка на обличчях, як і вранці на висадці. Щодо "Королеви Марії" (так, я теж так її називаю), ця жінка керує цілим табором! Одного разу я запитав, скільки часу її співробітники були в Парку, щоб дізнатися, що вони повертаються рік за роком. Одна з причин, чому я щороку повертаю своїх дітей, - це стабільність бачити ті ж знайомі обличчя. Тож я задаю таке запитання: Якщо королева Марія «груба і зневажлива, у неї є персонал, радники та табори називають її королевою Марією», то як їй забезпечити щастя персоналу, щоб вони постійно поверталися з року в рік? Я ніколи не чув нічого такого безглуздого за дуже довгий час. Так, вона постійно в русі, і так, іноді вона може бути зайнята, намагаючись узгодити потоки автомобілів, які збирають дітей, персонал задає питання, діти бігають за її обіймами, але зневажливо? Адміністратори Summer at Park не можуть відслідковувати виставлення рахунків, втрачають необхідні форми, не відповідають на дзвінки та дозволяють певну їжу в одному сеансі, але не в іншому. Мері Рассел, директора Summer of Park, можна назвати лише грубою і зневажливою. Насправді, вона беззастережно відноситься до себе, і всі радники та табори називають її королевою Марією. Моя дитина одного разу повернулася додому з табору і запитала мене: «Хто така королева Марія?
